Municipal fees up 4.9 per cent

Annual municipal residential fees rose by 4.9 per cent on average from January 2014 to January 2015. The average household pays almost NOK 10 800 for the municipal services of water, waste water, waste services and chimney sweeping/inspection.

Among the municipal charges, waste water fees increased the most. This fee rose 6.3 per cent from 2014 to 2015. Fees for water and waste services increased by 5.0 per cent and 3.7 per cent respectively. The annual fee for chimney sweeping and inspection went up by 2.3 per cent last year.
