The rise in house building is unequally distributed by building types. Multi-dwelling houses dominate in absolute figures, with 3 800 new dwellings. This is almost half of the new dwellings.

In the first quarter of 2013, building was started on 840 000 square metres of utility floor space within the industrial sector. This is a decrease of a good 11 per cent. The level of building activity is especially low within industry and office buildings.
