Growth in construction turnover

The turnover in the construction industry in the 5th period of 2014 has shown an increase of 6.0 per cent from the same period in 2013.

Turnover in 5th period was NOK 76.5 billion and thus increased by NOK 4.3 billion from the same period in 2013. The total turnover in the first five periods is just below NOK 311 billion; an increase of almost NOK 17 billion from the same period in 2013.

The local kind-of-activity units in the group construction of residential and non-residential buildings had an increase in turnover of 5.9 per cent compared with the 5th period of 2013. This represents an increase of NOK 1.6 billion and a turnover of NOK 29.4 billion. In the same period, turnover among the local kind-of-activity units in the division civil engineering increased by 8.8 per cent, or NOK 812 million, and reached NOK 10.0 billion in 5th period in 2014.
