Growth in construction turnover

Turnover in the construction industry went up by NOK 12.0 billion in the first six months of 2011; an increase of 9.4 per cent compared with 2010.

The total construction turnover for the first six months of 2011 was NOK 136 billion. The group construction of residential and non-residential buildings experienced the strongest increase in turnover by 12.5 per cent.

Largest increase in Troms and Vest Agder

The turnover in Troms and Vest Agder was 20.7 and 16.4 per cent higher in the first half of 2011 respectively, compared with the same period last year. Only Aust Agder experienced a decrease in turnover with a moderate 1.7 per cent compared with the same period last year.
