8 per cent growth in turnover

Turnover in the construction industry was NOK 45.0 billion in March and April 2011; an increase of 7.8 per cent compared with 2010.

The turnover in the specialised construction activities was NOK 22.0 billion in March and April 2011; an increase of 8.4 per cent. This division includes specialised construction activities (special trades), i.e. the construction of parts of buildings and civil engineering works or preparation of such.

The turnover in the construction of residential and non-residential buildings was NOK 17.7 billion in the second period of 2011; an increase of 7.7 per cent compared with the same period last year.

Growth in Troms and Vest Agder

The turnover in Troms and Vest Agder was 22.2 and 13.1 per cent higher compared with the same period last year. The turnover in Aust Agder was 4.9 per cent less compared with the same period last year.
