Changes in the statistics as from the fourth quarter of 2006

The mutual funds’ investments in mutual funds shares are included in the figures as from this quarter. Previous quarters are published as net figures, i.e. without these investments.

As from this quarter, the statistics is based on direct information on what mutual funds own of shares, bonds and short-term debt securities. This information is collected from VPS and custodians.

In addition, some adjustments are made in the published tables, among others a more detailed sector specification of the mutual funds shares by holders and of the net purchase of mutual funds shares by purchasers.
