Increased contributions in AFP scheme

Pension contributions in the Agreement Based Pension (AFP) scheme increased by 11 per cent, to NOK 3 595 million, during 2010.

Pension contributions increased by NOK 365 million during 2010, mainly due to a 12.5 per cent rise in the number of retired people from 2009 to 2010. During 2010, the ordinary result decreased by 841 per cent, to NOK minus 4 428 million. Total assets increased by 11 per cent to NOK 5 551 million.
