Increased contributions in AFP scheme

Pension contributions in the Agreement Based Pension (AFP) scheme increased by 14 per cent, to NOK 4 366 million, during 2009.

Pension contributions increased by NOK 530 million during 2009, mainly due to a 10 per cent rise in the number of retired people from 2008 to 2009. During 2008, the net income decreased by 478 per cent, to NOK minus 471 million. Total assets increased by 20 per cent to NOK 10 993 million.
