Increase in employment in all counties

Rogaland had the highest increase in the number of employed persons with 5.8 per cent from the fourth quarter of 2006 to fourth quarter of 2007. Norway as a whole had an increase in the number of employed persons of 4.0 per cent, or 95 000 persons.

After Rogaland, Vest-Agder and Aust-Agder had the highest increase with 5.6 and 5.0 per cent respectively, according to new figures from the register-based employment statistics. Troms had the smallest increase with 2.4 per cent.
