Wages up 0.1 per cent in manufacturing
Preliminary figures for average basic salaries for full-time employees in manufacturing show a 0.1 per cent increase between the 3rd quarter of 2016 and the 4th quarter of 2016.

Preliminary figures for the wage index show a 0.6 per cent increase in average basic salaries for the 4th quarter of 2016 in oil and gas extraction and mining, and a 1.1 per cent increase in transport in the same period.
