Wages up 0.9 per cent in manufacturing
Preliminary figures for average basic salaries for full-time employees in manufacturing show a 0.9 per cent increase between the 3rd quarter of 2014 and the 4th quarter of 2014. Equivalent figures for the fourth quarter of 2013 show an increase of 1.3 per cent.

Preliminary figures for the wage index show a 2.0 per cent increase in average basic salaries for the last quarter in oil and gas extraction and mining, and a 1.0 per cent increase for full-time employees in construction.
