NOK 11 billion in personal services

Enterprises in the personal services industry had a total turnover of NOK 10.8 billion in 2005. The change compared with 2004 was 7.3 per cent.

The number of enterprises rose by 290, while the employment grew by 823. The change compared with 2004 was 3.4 and 3.5 per cent respectively. The number of enterprises within this division was 8 922 in 2005, while the number of employment was 24 137.

Preliminary figures

The preliminary figures for structural statistics are published only on enterprise level. Only figures for the number of enterprises, employment and turnover are published. In general, the figures for enterprises will show other values than the figures for local kind-of-activity units. This is due to the fact that an enterprise registered with its main activity in one industry may have local kind-of-activity units in other industries. The data have not been as thoroughly revised, as they will be at the publishing of the final figures in June 2007.
