Repairs for NOK 2.3 billion

Enterprises operating within repair of computers and personal household goods had a turnover of NOK 2.3 billion in 2013. This is an increase of 2.6 per cent compared to 2012.

Employment and number of enterprises decreased by 2.3 per cent and 1.6 per cent respectively. The number of people employed and number of units were approximately unchanged. The enterprises operating within repair of computers and communication equipment had a total turnover of NOK 1.2 billion; a growth of 3.8 per cent compared to 2012. The number of persons employed decreased by 4.2 per cent, to 1 120.

The enterprises within the group repair of personal household goods had a total turnover of NOK 1.0 billion and employed 1 291 persons, approximately unchanged compared to 2012.

The enterprises within other personal service activities that operate within the areas washing and dry cleaning, hairdressing and other beauty treatment and funeral services had a total turnover in 2013 of NOK 14.5 billion; an increase of 5.1 per cent compared to 2012. The number of people employed increased by 2.7 per cent, to 22 945 persons.
