Strong increase in the external loan debt
From May to June the external debt to non-financial enterprises, municipalities and households experienced a increase of NOK 20,9 billion, to a total of NOK 497,3 billion. The public enterprises short term loan debt stood for the main part of the increase.
The public enterprises increased their external loan debt with NOK 15,4 billion to 137,8 billion. It was the short term loan debt that increased with 11,0 billion to 50,7 billion. At the same time the private enterprises increased their loan debt to foreign countries by NOK 6,7 billion to 357,5 billion.
