Decrease in the external loan debt
The Public's external loan debt showed a decrease of NOK 5.7 (corrected 25.4.2006 at 1025) billion from January to February 2006, to a total of NOK 486.5 billion. The public enterprises stood for the main part of the reduction.
The public enterprises cut their external loan debt with NOK 6,6 billion to 135.2 billion from January to February.
In the same period the private enterprises increased their loan debt to foreign countries by NOK 0.9 billion to 347.2 billion.
