Oil and gas activities, investments, Q2 2006

The estimate for 2007 is NOK 3.2 billion higher than the estimate for 2006 given in the 2nd quarter 2005. The total investments for 2006 are now estimated at NOK 102.3 billion. This is an increase of NOK 9.6 billion compared with the previous quarter, and NOK 10.3 billion more than the investment estimate for 2005 given in the 2nd quarter 2005.

The investments for exploration activity in 2005 are now estimated at NOK 13.1 billion. This is NOK 5.3 billion higher than the corresponding estimate for 2005. The estimate is NOK 1.2 billion higher than the estimation for 2006 given in the 1st quarter 2006.

Investments for field development and fields on stream are now estimated at NOK 64.8 billion. This is an increase of NOK 4.1 billion compared with the previous quarter and NOK 9.0 billion higher than the corresponding estimate given for 2005.

Onshore activities and pipeline transportation are estimated at NOK 18.0 and 6.4 billion respectively.

Estimates for 2007

The total investments for 2007 are now estimated at NOK 68.3 billion. This is an increase of NOK 3.2 billion compared with the investment estimate for 2006 given in the 2nd quarter 2005.

The investments for exploration activity in 2007 are now estimated at NOK 6.2 billion. The estimate is NOK 2.9 billion higher than the estimation for 2006 given in the 2nd quarter 2005.

Investments for field development and fields on stream are now estimated at NOK 53.0 billion. This is NOK 5.8 billion higher than the corresponding estimate given for 2006.

Onshore activities and pipeline transportation are estimated at NOK 7.3 and 1.8 billion respectively.
