Record high estimates for 2005

The total investments in oil and gas activity in 2005 - including pipeline transportation - are now estimated at NOK 92.0 billion. This is an increase of NOK 3.5 billion compared with the previous quarter. The first-time estimates for 2006 are now NOK 65.1 billion.

The estimate for 2006 is NOK 7.1 billion higher than the estimate for 2005 given in the second quarter 2004.

Estimates 2005

The total investments for 2005 are now estimated at NOK 92.0 billion. This is an increase of NOK 3.5 billion compared with the previous quarter, and NOK 20.5 billion more than the investment estimate for 2004 given in the second quarter 2004.

The investments for exploration activity in 2005 are now estimated at NOK 7.9 billion - NOK 3.1 billion higher than the corresponding estimate for 2004. The estimate is NOK 0.6 billion lower than the estimation for 2005 given in the first quarter of 2005.

Investments for field development and fields on stream are now estimated at NOK 55.8 billion. This is an increase of NOK 2.8 billion compared with the previous quarter and NOK 9.4 billion higher than the corresponding estimate given for 2004.

Onshore activities and pipeline transportation are estimated at NOK 17.6 and 10.7 billion respectively.

Estimates 2006

The total investments for 2005 are now estimated at NOK 65.1 billion. This is an increase of NOK 7.1 billion compared with the investment estimate for 2005 given in the second quarter 2004.

The investments for exploration activity in 2006 are now estimated at NOK 3.3 billion. The estimate is NOK 0.4 billion higher than the estimation for 2005 given in the second quarter of 2004.

Investments for field development and fields on stream are now estimated at NOK 47.2 billion - NOK 9.0 billion higher than the corresponding estimate given for 2005.

Onshore activities and pipeline transportation are estimated at NOK 10.2 and 4.4 billion respectively.
