Small change in electricity prices
The average price of electric energy for households was NOK 0.277/KWh in the fourth quarter of 2004, excluding taxes and grind rent. This is 1.4 per cent higher than in the third quarter of 2004.
Including taxes and grid rent the price of electricity for households came to NOK 0.755/KWh. This is 0.7 per cent higher than in the third quarter of 2004.
The average price of electricity for the service industry came to NOK 0.253/KWh in the fourth quarter, excluding taxes and grind rent. The average price for the third quarter was NOK 0.248/KWh.
For the manufacturing industry, except energy-intensive manufacturing and the pulp and paper industry, the price of electricity amounted to NOK 0.239/KWh in the fourth quarter. For energy-intensive manufacturing and the pulp and paper industry the average price of electric energy was NOK 0.125/KWh.
