1 Theses figures are monthly, and not three-months moving average |
2 We have encountered problems with achieving satisfactory quality within the LFS seasonally-adjusted man-weeks worked of 37.5 hours. This is caused by the effects of moving and fixed holidays impacting on different weekdays. Since the survey week is not divided between months, the man-weeks worked will be affected by the division of the months. Man-worked weeks for December, January and the summer months are especially sensitive for this division. |
Because of the division of the months, the first week of July 2010 started on 5 July. Consequently, July was only four weeks this year, and resulted in the share of staff holidays in July being higher than normal. |
