Figures for 2020 were corrected on September 2, 2022. Salary compensation for those who are temporarily laid off ('lønnskompensasjon') was included twice in the calculation of total income, and thus figures for total income were about 7 billion NOK too high.

In 2014, transitional benefit to single parents taxable as pension (expired on April 1, 2014) is included in 'Family support'. New transitional benefit received after April 1 2014, which is taxable as earned income, is included in 'Income from work' in 2014. In 2015 and onwards, transitional benefit is included in 'Other transfers'.

Family support

Includes child benefit, cash-for-care benefit, child care and education benefit and maternity grant at birth or adoption. Before 2015, transitional benefit was included as well.
