Regional variables are calculated with different weights then national variables, meaning that the national totals will differ from the sum of counties.
R&D personnel include employees that perform R&D in the enterprises (internal R&D personnel). External or hired R&D personnel are not included. See list over changes in regional classifications (in Norwegian).

Tables that use the new regional division also for the years before 2024.
