Before 1950 a number of municipalities were devided on other dates that 1 January, typically 1 July. In some of these cases we do not have sufficient detailed figures to show the number of births, deaths etc. for each calender year according to the updated classification of municipalities of that year.

Twin births

In this table figures for twin births are incomplete (too low) for some years. More reliable figures for twin and triple births, on county level, are published in the printed issues of Vital Statistics and Migration Statistics. See Historical publications.

Emigration, outside Europe

Emigration figures from rural areas 1906-1920 are missing in this table. For 1906-1907 and 1919-1920 also figure for most urban areas are missing, except for about 10 largest cities. Figures for 1941-1945 are missing, but during the war no emigation seemed to happen. Time series ends in 1965.
