The indicator shows the share of the applications received during the year that come from households that did not live in a municipal rental dwelling at the time of application. Applications from these households are termed “new applications”, as distinct from households already living in a municipal rental dwelling that apply to change dwelling or to extend or renew an existing tenancy agreement. Numerator: number of new applications received during the year. Denominator: total number of applications received during the year. The ratio is multiplied by 100 to give figures in per cent.
