Proportion of persons who are mentally ill, on waiting list for municipal housing

The indicator shows the percentage of individuals with mental disorders and/or substance abuse issues on the waiting list for municipal housing, out of all new households on the waiting list. Starting from the statistical year 2020, this combines the three former categories: mental disorders, substance abusers, and individuals with both substance abuse and mental disorders. The term 'new households' means that the household did not reside in municipal housing at the time of application. This is different from households applying to switch municipal housing or extend the lease in their current municipal housing. The percentage of individuals with mental disorders and/or substance abusers on the waiting list, out of all new households on the waiting list, is calculated as follows: (number of individuals with mental disorders and/or substance abusers on the waiting list / total number of new households on the waiting list) * 100. The numerator is the count of individuals with mental disorders and/or substance abusers on the waiting list, data retrieved from form 13. The denominator is the total number of new households on the waiting list, data retrieved from form 13.
