NOK 9.3 billion surplus

Preliminary figures show a current account surplus of NOK 9.3 billion for Norway in November 1996. The increase in the surplus compared to October is primarily the result of reduced imports of other goods. For the period from January to November 1996 the surplus was NOK 70.7 billion. The comparative period last year produced a NOK 26.2 billion surplus.
