Tax revenues continue to rise


Norway's fiscal accounts show total tax revenues including July this year at NOK 145.5 billion, up NOK 13.8 billion or 10.4 per cent from the same period last year. Of this amount, municipalities (local governments) will see tax revenues rise by nearly NOK 1.8 billion or 5.7 per cent, while the tax equalisation fund will grow by 22.6 per cent. Oil taxes are up 21 per cent.
