Strikes affect output



Statistics Norway's seasonally adjusted production index (all-items index) fell 1.9 per cent from April to May this year, after rising 0.9 per cent the month before. Industrial production sank all of 4.5 per cent, mainly due to strikes. Oil and gas production dropped 1.4 per cent, while production of electricity increased by over 10 per cent.
