Increasing transport of passengers

52.6 million passengers travelled by railway on Norwegian territory in 2005. The transport performances constituted 2.7 billion passenger kilometres.

There was an increase in both passenger travelled and passenger kilometres of almost two per cent respectively compared to 2004. About 270.000 passengers travelled to and from Norway in 2005.
