The planning mosaic consists of land use purposes from the current zoning plan where possible, and land use purposes from the municipal plan's land use section in other areas. Coastal sea areas include sea areas within the scope of the Planning and Building Act (1 nautical mile beyond the baseline). The planning statistics are based on the municipalities' digital planning data obtained from Geonorge and provide a status with figures as detailed as possible for each year. Data in this table applies to spatial plans with the status of finally adopted at vertical level 2 (on the ground). The statistics will also show that the databases are becoming more complete as well as changes due to the rolling of the area part of the municipal plan in individual municipalities.

land use objectives

Land use objectives are main elements in municipal plans that specifies with legally binding effect what the area can be used for. The land use objectives in this table are divided into main objectives, grouped objectives and sub-objectives.

The individual land use purpose is indicated here together with a 6-character code, where the first two letters indicate whether it concerns a municipal plan/sub-plan (Kp), a zoning plan according to the Norwegian Land Use Act 1985 (Rb) or a zoning plan according to the Norwegian Land Use Act 2008 (Rp), followed by four digits (sosi code). Land use purposes from plans according to the Norwegian Land Use Act 1985 have a leading zero before the 3-digit sosi code, while land use purposes from plans according to the Norwegian Land Use Act 2008 have a 4-digit sosi code.
