Source: OECD - Main science and technology indicators. The table shows R&D expenditure by international sector classification in countries for which the OECD collects R&D statistics. The international sector classification differs from the Norwegian one: Business-oriented units in the Norwegian institute sector are considered here as part of the business enterprise sector, while units in the Norwegian institute sector manily controlled and funded by government are included in the government sector. The higher education sector is similar in national and international sector classification.
