The indicator is somewhat narrower than the financial key figures. As from the fiscal year 2014, VAT compensation for investments in the investment accounts and not in the operating accounts, as in the period 2004-2013.

Members of The Church of Norway as a percentage of inhabitants (per cent)

In KOSTRA, we are not able to include members of Dnk listed with undecided residence (resident in Norway). The national membership rate can therefore be somewhat higher than the one in KOSTRA. Up to and including 2020 the variable included members of the Church of Norway as well as not baptized child (until 18 year) of a parent who is a member. From 2021 the variable only includes members of the Church of Norway.

number of baptized figures from 2016 show the total number of baptized in the parish and can not be compared to the previous indicator.

Confirmed as a percentage of persons 15-years old (per cent)

The indicator has been changed in 2003. Changed title in 2006.

New indicator for 2013 figures. Memberships are per 1.1 in the statistical year. Unknown and members abroad are not included.
