Due to low response rate in the survey of self-certified sickness absence, the time series for selected detailed categories of industry starts 2nd Quarter 2003.
Conversion to SIC2007 are carried out for figures older than 2008. A description of the conversion method can be viewed in 'About the statistics', section 6.1.
Animal husbandry service activities (except veterinary activities), extraction of crude petroleum and natural gas, water transport, private households with employed persons and extra territorial organizations and bodies are not included in the sample survey about self-certified sickness absence.
The figures of change are not adjusted for the Easter.
From 1st quarter of 2015, the statistic on sickness absence is based on a new data source, A-ordningen. This change seems to have minimal impact on the numbers on an aggregated level.
