The figures available under 'Municipalities 2020, aggregated time series' are sums of municipalities according to the borders in each year. Please be aware of many municipality changes and border adjustments in the early 1960s, see Endringer i kommuneinndelingen 1951-2008. See list over changes in regional classifications (in Norwegian).

Please note that the region selections Municipalities 2020 aggregated time series, Counties 2020 aggregated time series, Regions, Police districts, Centrality and Economic regions summarize single figures for municipalities or counties. Domestic migrations figures for a larger regional unit are thus not correct, since also migrations within the region are counted.
