The TV figures apply to both traditional TV signals through satellite, cable, or digital terrestrial network, and direct TV viewing on online TV platforms such as NRK Direkte or TV2 Play Direkte.

Audio media

Audio media include vinyl records, CDs, MP3 players, audio files that are downloaded from the Internet and streamed Internetfiles.

Video media

Video media include DVD/Blu-ray, harddisc recorders and video files, either downloaded from the Internet or streamed via Internet and paid for.

The numbers for 2012 and 2013 were changed 9 April 2015, because from 2012 paid streaming services like Netflix are included in videomedia.
