Animals killed by other causes includs animals perished, killed by predators, killed of humanity reasons etc.
Cases where an animal is claimed to be felled as self-defence are registered with the cause of death ' felled as self-defence' until the case is resolved. This means that the number of animals felled as self-defence may be changed.
