Emission intensities uses National Accounts' definitions, meaning that emissions to air from all Norwegian industry activities are included. Air emissions data that is used for reporting to the Kyoto protocol and other international air emissions reporting systems is using a geographic definition of the Norwegian territory and is distributed by source (such as processed emissions and emissions from stationary and mobile combustion), independent of which industries that are causing the emissions. Output is replaced by consumption for households For year 2020: Previously published figures for the transport industries on detailed level have been removed due to uncertainty in the data sources.
