OECDs Council Recommendations on Good Statistical Practice
The OECD Council adopted in November 2015 the recommendations on Good Statistical Practice.
The purpose of the framework is to undertake quality assessments of the statistical systems in the member countries. The Council will be informed about implementation in all OECDs member countries. It is also one of the central tools when new member countries are assessed for membership. The principles in the recommendations are in general matching with the European Statistics Code of Practice also followed by the Statistics Norway.
