0.3 per cent increase in manufacturing

Preliminary figures for total labour costs in manufacturing show a 0.3 per cent increase from the second quarter of 2012 to the third quarter of 2012. The index showed a 0.5 per cent increase for the same period in 2011.

The index for wholesale and retail trade showed a 0.9 per cent increase in total labour costs for the third quarter.
