1.2 per cent increase in manufacturing
Total labour costs per hour in manufacturing increased by 1.2 per cent from first to the second quarter of 2009. In the same period in 2008, costs increased by 0.7 per cent.
In construction the index rose by 2.2 percent in the second quarter this year compared to 2.0 percent in the same quarter last year.
