The IA agreement is a letter of intent regarding a more inclusive working life between the government and the employer/employee organisations. The overarching objectives of the IA agreement are to prevent and reduce sick leave, increase the focus on job presence and improve the working environment, as well as prevent expulsion and withdrawal from working life. The new letter of intent of 4 March 2014 is valid until the end of 2018.
