Normally, the breakdown of charged persons, and accompanying information about them, is grouped by principal offence – which is the offence that according to the law can have the most severe penalty. As from 2010, statistics will be published with some tables with a large sample of charged persons within each group of offences. These statistics show all persons charged with one or more offences, and not only those charged with one principal offence.
