The IA agreement is a letter of intent regarding a more inclusive working life between the government and the employer/employee organisations. The paramount objective of the IA agreement is to prevent and reduce sick leave, increasing focus on job presence and improving the working environment, as well as preventing expulsion and withdrawal from working life. The new letter of intent of 4 March 2014 is valid until the end of 2018.
