Gruppen inneholder også personer som lever i samboerforhold uten barn, da slike forhold ikke fanges opp av statistikken. Likeledes vil den ene parten i samboerforhold med særkullsbarn havne i gruppen enslige, dvs. den av partene som ikke er biologisk forelder til barnet. (5) Tallet på familier når samboere med felles barn er regnet som egen familietype. Derved reduseres gruppene mor med barn, far med barn og enslige, samtidig som også tallene for andre familietyper påvirkes noe. (1) Figures from the population census. Families in institutional households and families without a permanent residence are included in order to make the census figures comparable with the current family statistics. (2) Excluding families of unknown type. (3) Irrespective to the age of the children. (4) Persons who are registered as living alone. The group also consists of cohabitant couples with no common children, as such relations do not appear in the statistics. (5) Number of families when cohabitant couples with common children are considered as a separate family type.
