2  By change in municipal boundaries per 1 July 1953, 831 persons were transferred from 1126 Hetland to 1103 Stavanger.
3  Per 1 January 1965, 1103 Stavanger, 1125 Madla and 1126 Hetland (except for 2 077 persons who were transferred to 1102 Sandnes), were merged to one municipality, 1103 Stavanger.
