Statistical Yearbook of Norway 2013:
The Statistical Yearbook of Norway 2013 contains statistics on Norway and key figures for the Nordic countries and other countries.
The yearbook presents the main trends in official statistics in most areas of society. The list of tables and figures and an index at the back of the book provide easy access to relevant information. In addition, source information and Internet addresses below the tables make the yearbook a good starting point for those who are looking for more detailed statistics.
The statistics are based on data gathered in statistical surveys and from administrative data, which, in cooperation with other public institutions, have been made available for statistical purposes. Some tables have been prepared in their entirety by other public institutions, while tables from other countries have been selected from international statistics. The statistics follow approved principles, standards and classifications that are in line with international recommendations and guidelines. A Norwegian edition of the yearbook is also available. Both editions are available in electronic format on ssb.no.
The Statistical Yearbook of Norway 2013 has been edited by Ms Ingrid Modig. Ms Siri Boquist is responsible for the design. In addition, more than a hundred people from within and outside Statistics Norway have made important contributions to this edition.
