1  FTEs is the total number of full-time employees and part-time employees converted to full-time employees. Absence and deputyships are not excluded.
2  Break in time-series. Until 2002 the number of FTEs was collected by use of questionnaires. From 2003 the figures are collected from administrative registers. Figures from 2003 and later are thus not directly compareable with figures from preceeding years.
3  Doctor certified sickness absence and maternity leave included, self reported sickness absence exluded.
