Lise Dalen McMahon was appointed Director of the Department of national accounts and industry statistics in 2017. She was previously head of the Division for income and wage statistics in Statistics Norway. Before that, she was head of the Division for manufacturing and R&D statistics from 2008 to 2016. She has worked in Statistics Norway in the period from 1992 to 1997 and from 2003. McMahon has previously worked in NITO and the Ministry of Climate and Environment, and is a graduate economist from the University of Oslo and University of London.
