Marina Tsygankova holds a Master of Sciences degree in Environmental and Development Economics from University of Oslo. She also holds a Master of Science degree in Mathematical Economics from the University of Saint-Petersburg. After graduation from University of Oslo she works as a researcher at the Research Department of Statistics Norway, Unit for Petroleum and Environmental Economics. She specifically works with modelling of energy markets. She also holds Ph.D degree from University of Oslo, Economic Department. Her Ph. D thesis is about regulation in the Russian gas market. Her fields of research are gas market and climate change.
