Svenn is a doctoral student working at Statistics Norway and the Frisch Centre and enrolled at the University of Oslo. He holds a Master degree in Environmental and Development Economics from the same institution and a BCom Honours from the Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University (South Africa).

His PhD is part of the Petrosam project carried out jointly by Statistics Norway and the Frisch Centre. It investigates petroleum market developments, with the main focus on the supply side. Recent and potential future market structure changes, climate policies and energy security issues raise an interesting set of new questions to be addressed.
