Magne Mogstad is currently an Assistant Professor (Lecturer) at the Department of Economics, University College London. He is also a Senior Researcher (Forsker I) at the Research Department of Statistics Norway, and an Associated Researcher at the ESOP centre of the Dept. of Economics, University of Oslo. He received his PhD in Economics from the University of Oslo in 2008.
Research interests include public economics, labor economics, and applied econometrics.
